Sherwood GS650 Foam Core Hockey Goalie Stick SR
Performance and lightness: with a high-performance composite shaft and blade and a high-density foam paddle, Sherwood has tried to put all of its technology into a foam-core stick that combines the lightness of a composite shaft with the soft feel of a foam paddle and blade, giving the goalie the best of both worlds.
Innovative blade design: in an effort to develop better performance than the SL700 series, Sherwood has focused heavily on improving blade durability with the GS650. The result is a new design called CSF Blade technology. Short for Carbon Seal Finish, the CSF blade construction incorporates a new high-strength carbon fibre plate that is applied to both sides of the blade, creating a sandwich-like effect when sealing the blade closed.
Who it's for: If you're a mid-level goalie looking for a FoamCore stick with a foam core, look no further than the Sher-Wood FC700 goalie stick.

Shaft for perfect grip: The design of a better blade wasn't the only thing that went into the GS650. Sherwood developed a new shaft technology, the Duralight shaft, made of high modulus carbon fibre with double concave walls to help goalies maintain a secure grip when playing with the puck. The shaft passes through the heel of the blade to prevent the stick from softening over time, optimizing the response and performance of the stick.
Durable blade thanks to Foamcore: Sherwood engineers have developed a brand new technology called Foamcor, a patented foam material used in a range of goal sticks. Thanks to Foamcor technology, the GS Series hockey sticks will feature a slightly thicker blade that is stiffer and more impact resistant.
